What another amazing show with record attendance figures once more!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who came and supported the show - an awesome day.
The Show n Shine was packed out, we had great club attendance and there was a stunning variety of vehicles on display. The sun shone all afternoon and it was a fantastic way to celebrate our 10th Anniversary.
We can't wait for 14th August 2011!!

Special thanks to the volunteers from the PKW Club - amazing turnout and support as ever for this year, you guys are fantastic and keep the spirit of the show alive. The show is so proud to be associated with our local club .

BeachBuggin'
Is the ultimate VDUB show by the beach due to our amazing location on Southsea Common in the heart of the seafront so we always attract plenty of enthusiasts, clubs, traders and general public.
The show is unique as it's free to the walk on public who come on mass attracted by the amazing displays. Run on a Not4Profit basis our show is a fantastic celebration of all things VDUB and we look forward to bringing you another memorable show in true BeachBuggin' style.

True to our heritage Beach Buggies get in free!!
Dogs are very welcome - please ensure your owners "bag it and bin it".
Enjoy the City
The show is a fantastic base from which to explore the seafront. Attractions within walking distance include the beach, funfair, Sealife Centre, D-Day Museum, Southsea Castle, Gunwharf Quays . . . and hundreds more things to see and do.
Cars for sale
A great place to advertise your vehicle or perhaps find that dream VW!
Once you've paid your entrance fee you can display your vehicle in this area for free!!
Caterers
We have two catering pitches at either end of the show so whether you love burgers, a hog roast or german sausages you wont go hungry.
Interested in one of our catering plots then contact the Event Organiser or download our Catering Traders Pack.
Swap Meet
Clear our your garage, spare room, loft or wherever those 'might come in handy one day' bits are lurking and get yourself a plot at the show.
No need to pre-book just turn up on the day with proof of address and a form of ID.
Swap meet plots are £10.00 for a 3M by 3M plot in addition to your entrance fee.
Please note these plots are only for hobby &
non-professional traders.
Traders
Always well supported by a good variety of traders, from VW parts through to
T-Shirts, there's sure to be plenty for you to browse and buy.
With the add on bonus of a large walk on public this is a wonderful opportunity for you Traders to maximise your sales during the height of the summer visitor season.

Our show is run on a NOT4Profit basis therefore we welcome all levels of support from sponsoring a Show N Shine Trophy right through to a being a Main Sponsor.

Rules
Show N Shine entrants must be registered and in place by 12.00noon.
Judging takes place between 12.00noon and 3.00pm with the prize giving at 3.30pm.
Any vehicles removed from the Show N Shine Arena after 12.00noon and before 3.30pm will be disqualified.
The Judges decision is final.
Classes

There are no restrictions on the number
of entries per class.

In the beginning . . .
Two University students, Jim and Rich started the show way back in 1999 as a University project in Bournemouth. It was so successful they carried it on for the next couple of years whilst they completed their University course.
In 2002 the show was moved to Southsea Common, having outgrown the original Bournemouth site.
BeachBuggin' continued to grow each year and in 2007 PKW organised the visitors camping. The show did not run in 2008 and was put on hold.
In step a group of enthusiastic people from PKW in 2009 who persuaded Jim and Rich to entrust their baby to them, and the rest is history! The BeachBuggin’ legend is back up and running in Southsea again!
Show ethos . . .
The show has key values and principles which underpin the running of the show
1. The show is run on a 'Not4Profit' basis
2. A minimum of 3/4 of the profits is donated to a named charity. The remaining profits are reinvested into the funds for next year's show
3. All organising and operations of the show is managed on a voluntary basis
Summary of BeachBuggin' 10
What a fantastic success the 2010 show was, we had over 800 vehicles through the gate and a fantasic walk on attendance.
The weather was kind and most visitors stayed on to enjoy the sunshine until early evening.
A big thank you to everyone who attended, traded, sponsored and volunteered.
